IELTS トリビア その19 解答 問題に戻る

Listening
Is it helpful to look at several questions at once ?
Yes. You need to look ahead just in case you completely miss the answer to the question you are focusing on.
Speaking
How do I know when to stop speaking in Part 2 ?
The examiner will tell you when you have reached two minutes. Otherwise, you should try to keep going until you are asked to stop.
Reading
If there are questions about locating information in the text, should I do them first or last ?
I recommend doing them last. This is because the information would be easier to find once you have had a chance to read through the article a couple of times for other questions (e.g. Headings / Classification)
Writing
Can I use the words 'I' or 'my' in the writing test ?
Yes, but only in the introduction or conclusion (e.g. 'In my view ...' or 'I believe that ...'). More than that will make your writing sound too formal.
