- Listening : Is spelling important when writing your answers ?
- Yes - the answers to the listening test are common words and are expected to be spelled correctly.
- Speaking : In Part 2, is it ok to speak for only 1 minute ?
- No - in the task you are asked to speak for between 1 and 2 mintues. Speaking longer shows that your fluency is good.
- Reading : Do you need to understand every word in the article to get a good score ?
- No - there are many difficult words in the articles but they are not always related to the questions. Sometimes you can guess the meaning of the word from its context.
- Writing : Should you write the answer to Task 2 before Task 1 ?
- It doesn't matter in which order you do the tasks. Remember, it is good timing if you spend about 20 mintues on Task 1 and 40 minutes on Task 2.
