こんにちは日本の皆さん、ジェーンです。オーストラリアへようこそ。今日は、ローンパイン・コアラ保護区で美しい動物達の見学を します。それでは、私と一緒に見学に出かけましょう。
ちょうど、コアラを抱こうするところです。「このコアラの名前は？」「ゴブリン」「何歳ですか？」「だいたい６歳から７歳です」 「そうですか？素敵なコアラですね。そんなに簡単に抱けるのかしら？」「ええ、コアラを抱いている時は、あなたは”人間の木”なんです」 「私たちは、コアラを扱う時には、自分の腕が木になるようにしています」「なるほど、私たちもコアラを抱いてみたらいいかも しれませんね。ありがとうございました」
信じられません。実際に蛇を抱いています。
インコの見学に行くところです。こちらの美しい小さなカンガルーは、すぐ後に見学します。こちらは、オーストラリア・インコです。 この鳥は、ちょうど、餌を食べているところです。だれでも、ここに来てインコに餌をあげることができます。ちょうど、鷹を見つけました。 ご存じのように、鷹は日本では、新年の縁起ものの一つです（一富士、二鷹、三なすびのこと）。
こちらは、オーストラリア・カンガルーです。私のよこには、子供のカンガルーがいます。向こうの後ろの方では、 大きなカンガルーが見えます。肩のところを見て下さい。ちょうど、オーストラリア・ワラビーを見つけました。注意して見ると、 袋から小さな足が出ているのが見えます。あれは、袋の中にいる子供のワラビーです。
「オウムさん、踊って！ハローオウムさん。オウムさん、踊って！」
シー。ウオンバットを起こさないようにしましょう。ウオンバットは、あまり何もしなくて、とても怠け者です。ご覧ようのに、ウオンバットは、 眠るのが大好きな大型動物です。
ちょうど、ローンパインにやってきた観光客を発見しました。何か話が聞けるかもしれません。 「ローンパインについてどう思いましたか？」「コアラとカンガルーがいっぱいいますね」「カンガルーとコアラですか」 「とても可愛いです」「ローンパインは気に入りましたか？」「はい」
一緒に連れて帰るコアラを選ぼうかと思っています。それではまた近いうちにあいましょう。さようなら。
Hello Japan, my name is Jane and I would like to welcome you to Australia. Today we are going to have a look at some beautiful Australian animals at "Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary." Come and have a look at some of them with me now.
I am Just about to hold a Koala. I just found out um..what is the name of
this Koala?
"Goblin."
How old is he?
He is about 6 to 7 years old.
Really.
He is beautiful, isn't he?
So, is he fairly easy to hold.
Yes you are like a human tree when you hold them. We handle them
differently like our arm is a tree for them.
OK. Alright, well we might have a hold a Koala now. Thank you.
I cannot believe this! I am actually holding a Snake!
We are on our way to have a look at the Lorikeets and we will be back to have a look at these beautifuls little Kangaroos very soon... These are some of our Australian Lorikeets. This bird is having a feed at the moment. You can come here and feed the Lorrikeets also. I have just found a Hawk here, you would be happy to know. One of the Japanese New Year good luck symbols.

Here is a little Joey right here beside me.
And over in the background you will see one of our larger ones. Just look
at those shoulders!
Ah! I have found an Australian Wallaby .. just look closely you can see a
little foot sticking out of its' pouch. That is a little Joey in the pouch.

Shush..! Let's not wake up the Wombats. Wombats do not do a lot, they are very lazy. As you can see they are very big animals that love to sleep a lot.
I have just found some visitors who have just been to Lone Pine. They would like to say something. What did you think of Lone Pine? There are very many Koalas and Kangaroos. Kangaroos and koalas...yes. They are very cute. Did you like Lone Pine? Yah!
I think I might choose a Koala to take home with me before I go. See you soon. Sayonara.!
